Commercial Insurance Assistant

Kootenay Insurance Services (KIS) is looking for a Commercial Assistant. This position can work from either our Trail, Cranbrook or Nelson locations. Responsibilities:

• provides technical and administrative support to new & existing commercial lines clients
• prepares new commercial policy applications, commercial renewals and midterm policy changes.
• Responds to customer reports concerning loss or damage to risk
• builds relationships with new and existing clients by providing trusted advice

Requirements:

• Level II Insurance License
• minimum 2 years experience in the sale of personal lines & autoplan products
• ability to communicate positively in a sales and service environment
• ability to work in an employee focused culture
