SalaryShift/schedule/rate:
- Start date: Jan 2024 (exact start date TBD)
- $60/hr - all-inclusive rate
- Duration: on-going/long-term
- 12 hr shifts (6:30am-6:30pm)
- Rotation schedule 14 days on/14 off
- Flights, accommodations and meals provided on-site
- Three + years of mining experience.
- Strong safety background.
- Understand and follow flow charts/P&ID's.
- Excellent communication skills to lead a team of operators and communicate with different departments.
- Strong work ethic, dedication to their teams, peers, and business objectives.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain good interpersonal relationships.
- Understand lock out tag out procedures.
- Skid steer and mini excavator knowledge.
- Ability to think fast in different situations to limit downtime.
- Ensuring that the concentrator achieves and exceeds production and quality objectives while ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) and environmental standards.
- Scheduling workers for appropriate work shifts and maintaining desired levels of productivity and quality safely
- Perform daily/weekly tool box talks
- Communicating and planning maintenance with appropriate departments for shut downs
- Ensuring all workers understand work scope provided
- Completing shift reports, timesheets, and incident reports
- Ability to execute a daily plan, and able to make adjustments as needed.
- Passion and enthusiasm to continually improve - safety, production, and quality
- Developing and proposing methods to improve and optimize department performance.
- Mentor others.
- Write and review/communicate risk management situations with crew members (JHA- Job hazard Analyst).
- Review and sign lock out tag out procedures for different equipment.
- Control in-plant inventories of consumables and supplies, and order materials to achieve production schedules.
- Provide input and work collaboratively with peers and other departments.
