We are full-stack marketing and sales technology experts, and our services include Website Development, Digital Marketing and Marketing Automation, CRM Solutions, and Custom Cloud Application Development.
What's the job all about?
This role is an in-house marketing position where you will write copy for blog articles, whitepapers, newsletters, websites, landing pages, digital ads, social media posts, and any additional content where needed. In addition, you will receive training in search engine optimization (SEO), keyword research, and website content curation. The successful candidate will work directly with the Managing Director making this role a unique opportunity to learn the fundamentals of digital marketing from a senior leader in the company.

What kind of skills and experience do you need to have?
The main skills and experience we would need you to have are:
Proven experience writing and editing marketing copy, social and web copy, and short and long form articles. Writing samples are an essential part of this application.
Demonstrated research abilities, including fact checking, referencing and the ability to compile and paraphrase information from a variety of sources while keeping track of where the information came from.
You are detail oriented and take ownership over the tasks and deadlines you are given.
You're great at taking complex topics and making them simple and understandable for the desired audience.
In terms of other important skills, you would need to be comfortable being responsible for delivering projects on a deadline, and for juggling more than one project at a time.
With respect to experience, it would be great to hear from candidates that have a writing background and who can juggle multiple writing projects with ease. We are looking for an adaptable writer able to create engaging copy with the company's brand's voice in mind. Candidate with writing experience in technology is a plus.

What's the offer?
While our preference is to hire locally, we are open to candidates across Canada as we offer the option of fully remote work. Those who live in Victoria will also have access to our downtown office should they wish to have an office space to use at their leisure. We offer a Mon-Fri work week, based on a standard 7.5 hour workday. The compensation offered will be based on your skills and previous work experience. We also offer a generous extended heath plan, flexible hours around our core hours, remote team events and with three weeks paid vacation to start.
