Position: Customer Service & Operations Support - Full Time

Position Overview:
The position of Customer Service & Operations Support is responsible for Customer Service, order entry, production and Operations Support, and other administrative functions within the office.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service and Order Processing:
- Handle incoming phone calls, assisting with product inquiries, and providing customer support to both Wholesale and Retail customers.
- Accurately input customer orders and process invoices with attention to detail.
Regulatory Compliance and Quality Control:
- Review feed tags for compliance with CFIA regulations.
- Support the Quality Assurance Manager in ensuring adherence to CFIA regulations, including participation in the annual audit process.
Production and Inventory Management:
- Provide support for production processes.
- Manage feed and ingredient inventory, including commodity and ingredient inventory processing.
Financial Support:
- Process supplier invoices for payment.
- Assist with Accounts Payable tasks.
Quality Assurance and Testing:
- Assist the Quality Assurance Manager in ingredient purchasing and quality control.
- Process feed/ingredient samples for laboratory testing and maintain the annual sampling schedule.
- Track and update customer feed prescriptions, including requests from multiple veterinarians.
Record Keeping and Compliance:
- File necessary production and trucking records.
- Ensure proper retention of records according to CFIA, MTO, and CRA regulations.
- Manage record verification and retention for HACCP and CFIA annual audit requirements.
Data Management:
- Assist with operations data tracking and trend analysis for daily, monthly, and yearly functions.
Administrative and Office Management:
- Maintain office supply inventory and ensure proper sourcing.
- Greet and assist customers and guests at the Home Office.
- Maintain kitchen and lunchroom spaces.
- Perform general administrative duties as assigned by Supervisory Staff.
Experience and Skills include:
Minimum High school Diploma and of 2-3 years of work experience in Customer Service preferably in the agriculture industry.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
Proficient data entry experience required
Strong Customer Service and communication skills, ability to handle fast paced order desk processes.
Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, time management and attention to details skills
Strong team player with the ability to assist in other office functions
Ability to prioritize instructions from multiple sources, and follow up with appropriate staff upon completion of tasks
