Customer Service Driver

Graze & Gather is on a mission to be the best food experience for the planet. We are farmers, retailers and distributors of local, diverse food and ingredients. Through our online store we provide an approachable grocery shopping experience that is creating a community of farmers and food lovers for the future well-being of people and planet.

The role of the Customer Service Driver is to be the friendly face of the business, delivering groceries to the homes that we feed, delivering orders to the restaurants, and picking up food from the farmers and producers that rely on us.

The ideal candidate for this role loves local sustainable food as much as we do, is obsessed with customer happiness and feels passionate about joining a team dedicated to building a community of farmers and food lovers.

This is NOT a remote job. This role is located at our partner farm, Kendal Hills Farm at 8075 Maynard Road, Orono, Ontario.

This role reports to the Owner.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop relationships with our vendors and customers so that we can better serve them
• Drive around the Greater Toronto Area, listening to your music and making deliveries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Make deliveries and pickups according to instructions
• Provide our customers with a great experience when they interact with you! You are the face of the company, we receive a ton of positive feedback about our wonderful drivers!
• Be happy working with limited supervision in a role where you will directly feed our community.
• Monitor customer feedback and identify ways we can improve our service
• Take initiative and be willing to assist others as necessary, be happy to roll up your sleeves and get the job done.
• Additional duties as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• A warm and engaging personality, displaying exceptional Customer Service!
• Superb communicator
• A non-graduated Driver’s License, and clean driving record for the past 5 years.
• Experience driving larger vehicles.
• Ability to comfortably drive around Greater Toronto Area, in all types of weather, displaying excellent driving skills.
• Familiarity with surrounding areas is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, our customers love their bins of groceries!
• Willingness to work flexible hours and do other pick-ups as required.
• Must have own smart phone so that you can use our routing software

Work Details:

40 hours per week. Typical delivery shifts fall between these times. You can expect to be on the road 25-30 hours a week, and then working alongside the rest of the team to grow the business.

• Monday: 11:00am - 4:00pm
• Tuesday: 12:00pm - 5:00pm
• Wednesday: 12:00pm - 9:00pm
• Thursday: 12:00-pm - 9:00pm
• Friday: 12:00 - 5:00pm

Salary: $36,000.00-$46,000.00 per year
