Customer Service / Laborer

Art Knapp Kamloops is looking for a few good people to work with our Customer Service and Laborer team.

Responsibilities:

· Assist with the daily operations of the garden center, including plant care, watering, and maintenance.

· Loading and unloading of merchandise, plants, and supplies.

· Provide excellent Customer Service by assisting customers with inquiries and product selection.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the garden center, ensuring a welcoming environment.

· Operate and maintain gardening equipment, such as wheelbarrows, hand tools, and watering systems.

· Stocking shelves and organizing displays to enhance the visual appeal of the garden center.

· Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and efficient operation.

· Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure work environment.

Requirements:

· Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, as the role involves handling plants, bags of soil, and other garden-related items.

· Basic knowledge of plants, gardening, and horticulture is a plus.

· Customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.

· Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

· Good communication and teamwork skills.

· Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
