Briar Grace Consulting Ltd., a local provider of billing and support services for the energy/utility sector, is currently seeking a dedicated Customer Service Associate to join our dynamic team in Dorchester, Ontario. This role is essential in maintaining our commitment to excellence in client support and service delivery. Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Handle incoming phone calls with professionalism, addressing customer inquiries and concerns efficiently and effectively.
- Payment Processing: Process payments accurately, ensuring timely and correct application to customer accounts.
- Account Management: Assist in creating new customer accounts, maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Payment Reconciliation: Perform payment reconciliation tasks, ensuring all payments are accounted for and properly recorded, including billing.
- Work Order Management: Generate and manage work orders, coordinating with relevant departments to ensure completion.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve customer issues, providing exceptional service and fostering positive relationships.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong Computer Proficiency: Comfortable navigating and utilizing various software and systems.
- Mathematical Aptitude: Comfortable with numbers and basic calculations, with a keen eye for detail.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, good on the phone, and able to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Learning Agility: Eager to learn new skills and adapt to changing environments and systems.
- Customer Service Experience: Prior experience in a Customer Service role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Team Player: Ability to work well in a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work culture.
