CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

The Customer Service Representative role primarily provides daily administrative, technology and audio/visual Customer Service support. As a key contact person between the operation’s control and its various stakeholders this individual needs to be a positive reflection of the organization and its values.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• • Assists in troubleshooting and resolving safety, service, and operational issues.
  • Provide excellent Customer Service to all divisions and manage calls to and from service providers.
    
• • Creates, distributes, and closes-out customer tickets daily.
• • Maintains and distributes department related information daily.
• • Communicates with other supervisors and managers about operations and/or dispatch issues.
• • Completes and maintains a variety of reports as directed by the department manager.
• • Uses software tools to manage a variety of tasks, such as procurement, time and attendance, safety incidents, and contract labor.
• • Assists with data collection and reporting.
• • Assists with the processing of payments and other financial tasks as necessary.
• • Assists in the implementation of operational projects as needed.
• • Communicates with customers about service issues as needed.
• • Communicates with employees about scheduling and work assignments as needed.

• • May enter and maintain Service Machine SMART data daily for all trucks.
• • Performs other duties as assigned.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING?

• • Completion of Secondary School (or GED equivalent)?
• • Experience with Dispatching or CRM system is an asset?
• • Experience in the waste management and recycling industry an asset?
• • Strong computer skills (particularly in the use of MS Office)?
• • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks?
• • Working well under pressure and within strict timelines in a fast-paced environment?
