We are currently seeking a passionate and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring positive interactions with our members and stakeholders, contributing to our mission of advancing food security in Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
Member Support: Provide exceptional support to Food Secure Canada members, addressing inquiries and offering information about our programs and initiatives.
Communication: Respond promptly and professionally to emails, phone calls, and other communication channels, maintaining a positive and helpful demeanor.
Database Management: Update and maintain accurate member information in our database to ensure efficient communication and engagement.
Event Support: Assist in coordinating and supporting events, conferences, and workshops organized by Food Secure Canada.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to relay member feedback, address issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our services.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain documentation related to member interactions, ensuring a comprehensive record of communications.
Community Engagement: Foster a sense of community among our members, encouraging their active participation in Food Secure Canada initiatives.
Administrative Tasks: Undertake various administrative tasks to support the smooth functioning of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Customer Service or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Passion for and commitment to issues related to food security and sustainability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management systems.
