Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring their needs are met. Duties:
- Answer incoming customer inquiries via phone in a professional and timely manner
- Provide accurate information about products, services, events, and promotions
- Assist customers with purchasing books through recommendations and use of POS
- Perform data entry tasks to update customer records and maintain accurate information
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex customer issues
- Provide a positive and friendly shopping experience
- Process books for store credit and accept donations according to set guidelines
- Upsell additional products or services to enhance the customer experience
- Analyze customer feedback and provide suggestions for improvement
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Previous Customer Service experience preferred
- Previous experience in the book industry is an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong Customer Service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Proficient in data entry and navigating computer systems
- Sales experience or the ability to upsell products/services is an asset
- Ability to analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Effective communication skills to clearly convey information to customers
