Bronte College is a private secondary school that offers day and boarding programs for Grades 9 to 12. The Enrolment office is the first point of contact for prospective students and parents. Therefore, the role of the department is to provide first-class service not only in attracting new students, but also in supporting applicants throughout the admissions process right up until the student’s first day at Bronte College.

Main Responsibilities

· Support the admissions process from initial enquiry through to the student’s first day

· Ensure an excellent customer experience is provided

· Carry out the policies and procedures for recruiting and admitting students with accuracy and attention to detail

· Maintain and improve systems for admitting and tracking students

· Contribute to marketing efforts

Admissions Responsibilities

· Answer enquiries by providing clear and accurate information about Bronte College programs and the Ontario Secondary School system

· Meet with prospective parents or other visitors, giving tours of the school and ensuring prompt and effective follow-up

· Ensure all prospective and current parents receive regular communication from Bronte College

· Ensure all applications are completed, documents secured, and information entered into CRM with accuracy

· Review and process applications, analyze transcripts, transcribe grades and issue decisions in collaboration with Head of Enrolment

· Collect, organize, file and share documents as required

· Schedule appointments/interviews/testing

· Proctor testing and revise offers as required

· Assist in the preparation and updating of the admissions handbook, admission/orientation packages, and OSR (Ontario Student Record) files

· Assist in the organization and running of Orientation Week

· Ensure material for recruitment partners is current and up to date

Marketing Responsibilities

· Produce regular statistics and reports on the admissions landscape including analysis of enquiries, visits, applications, and conversions for Senior Management

· Monitor and report on local competition

· Keep abreast of key market trends in student recruitment

· Maintain historic & current data of student numbers

· Support Bronte College’s external relations, marketing, student recruitment and communications strategies to extend the school’s recruitment reach (locally, nationally and internationally)

· Regularly review and update the Admissions content on the school website to ensure the information displayed is correct and up to date

· Support brand consistency and quality

· Give administrative support to the Marketing Team as required, including design and content for internally produced publications

· Complete duties as assigned by the Head of Enrolment and Senior Management

Abilities and Qualities Required

· University degree or college diploma or equivalent working experience

· Warmth, charisma, empathy, and an ability to connect with people

· Clear communication skills, both oral and written, with excellent command of the English language

· Proficiency in digital communications and traditional media

· Experience in advertising content writing

· Possesses strong organization skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

· Excellent inter-personal skills and a natural ability to build relationships

· Resilient and positive under pressure, with the ability to thrive in a busy vibrant environment

· The ability to work as part of a team yet also to work on your own initiative to prioritize and meet deadlines

· A thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word

· Understanding of basic web or html would be considered an asset

· Fluency in a second language is desirable

· Experience of working in an education environment is desirable

Hours are 8:30 – 4:30 Monday to Friday (hybrid)
