Job Description
BBQ Tank Express is looking for a motivated and energetic service-oriented dispatcher to join our team. This position will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring that customer needs are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and will be willing to take on duties that may require multitasking and working independently. This position will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, ensuring customer satisfaction, and assisting customers in the event of an emergency.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers in a professional manner to ensure satisfaction with their experience
- Answer incoming calls and route calls to appropriate staff
- Communicate with management at all times regarding customer needs or concerns
- Maintain an open line of communication with customers to ensure that they are satisfied with the day’s activities
- Maintain an open line of communication with your managers to ensure that you are aware of any new developments or customer needs that may affect the day’s activities
- Provide an accurate record of all calls received, calls made, time spent, and time spent on the phone. Ensure that the records are accurate and complete in accordance with company policy and state and federal regulations

- Perform basic office tasks such as filing, typing, copying, scanning, etc.
- Keep an organized inventory of supplies needed for each department

- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner by providing solutions to help customers solve their problems
- Ensure that all internal systems are working properly at all times by ensuring that they are set up correctly, logging out when needed, scanning for ELDs when needed, etc.
- Maintain an accurate record of customer accounts by verifying their information, verifying their addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses
- Keep detailed records by recording all activities performed per company policy and procedures
