Customer Service/Office Assistant

The Shell Aerocenter at the Kelowna International Airport is a local business that provides a wide variety of services for the private and corporate aviation industry. We pride ourselves on safe, effective and efficient service with strong attention to customer service.

We are currently seeking a friendly, professional, and detail oriented person that has a positive attitude and thrives in a busy environment. As the face and voice of the company, the successful candidate will be integral to achieving our goal of exceptional customer service.

The successful candidate will be someone who:

• -Excellent communication skills both oral verbal and written. Communication is the key to success in any organization.
• -Strong attention to detail and organization. There are many intricacies to the service that we provide and they can be uniquely different to each client. Having an attention to detail and being organized will ensure we meet the expectations of our client.
• -Strong computer skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. While most of our systems are proprietary, it is important to that you are comfortable and proficient with computers and basic reconciliation of accounts.
• - Positive, Enthusiastic and Professional. We proudly work in a positive environment and while things can always get busy and hectic, we succeed through the strength of being a team that works well together.

Preferred qualifications:

• - Post secondary certificate or degree in Office Administration or experience in lieu of
• - Previous administrative and customer service experience

Some of the responsibilities of this position will be:

Greeting customers
Answers customer phone calls
Reserving hotels and car rentals
Dispatching Aviation fuel requests
Reconciliation of fuel sales and inventory
Reporting sales transactions daily
POS transactions and reconciliations

As part of the Carson Group of Companies we value work/life balance and as such, the position of CSR is a 4 on/4 off schedule with 9 hour shifts. We offer full benefits, RRSP contribution plan, clothing allowance and paid sick leave and team lunches. Starting wage is $24/hr.
