The Shady Rest Liquor Store is looking for you! Reporting to the Store Manager the Customer Service/Sales Associate will assist in all facets of running a busy liquor retail store. Cashier duties, inventory receiving, stock rotation, warehouse duties (including frequent bending/lifting for extended periods) and other related tasks. Off-site event set-up and coordination, product promotions, stocking shelves and general maintenance of the store. Key holders have the added responsibility of opening and closing the store and ensuring daily security measures are adhered to.

As the ideal candidate, you will enjoy using your product knowledge to assist customers in making a selection from our wide variety of liquor products. You will work well in a small team environment and have an ongoing interest in learning about our products.

We are a dynamic upbeat small team, passionate about the liquor industry and the products we sell. The ideal candidate must be a mature individual with customer service experience, available to work varied shifts, including weekends. Serving it Right Certificate Required. Must be 19 years +.

Education required:

Serving it Right Certificate.

Experience & skills:

Liquor store/industry experience considered an asset. Excellent communication skills and experience in dealing with the public. Working knowledge of 'retail systems'. This includes Point of Sale and Inventory Management applications. Retail experience in a Leadership/Supervision role an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Casual

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
