Customer Service/Sales Representative (Seasonal)

Swift Canoe & Kayak Georgian Bay is gearing up for a big summer in 2024 and we're looking for some great people who want to join our team.

People who work at Swift have a passion for the outdoors, and that is translated to how we serve our customers. As an employee you will be trained on a multitude of products, from canoes & kayaks to PFDs & paddles. You will also learn about our unique manufacturing process and what sets us apart from the competition.

Full Time employment from April to October (32 - 40 hours per week)

Salary: $17- $20 per hour depending on experience

Sales - Customer Service Role

• Deliver excellent customer service and help customers choose a craft (canoe, kayak, pack boat, SUP, etc.) & accessories that best suit their particular needs and paddling style/abilities.
• Assist front of store, answering phones, welcoming customers, cash duties.
• Managing incoming stock and customer boat arrivals.
• Help rental and outfitting customers with rental boats, gear and vehicle tie-downs.
• General maintenance of our store, outdoor sales yard and waterfront area.

What we're looking for:

• People with a passion for the outdoors, camping, canoeing, hiking.
• Experience in a retail or sales environment is an asset although not required.
• Willingness to work outdoors rain or shine.
• Aren't afraid of physically demanding work.
• Ability to work flexible hours (weekends are required).

Interviews will be held either in person or via Zoom.

These positions are for our Waubaushene location only.Reliable transportation is required, no public transportation is available.
