We are looking for a friendly and outgoing member to add to our growing Customer Service/Scheduling/Administrative team!
Permanent Full-time. Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm.
Customer Service/Scheduling/Administrative Assistant
- Duties will include:
-Professionally handling incoming reception calls, Electrical division inquiries and assist with walk-in customer service.-Receiving payments via cash, cheque, Visa, Mastercard, Debit, Email money transfer and direct payments. Posting payments in Quickbooks-All aspects of administration for our Electrical division: starting work orders, adding parts & hours to work orders. Attaching picture files and notes into electronic system (FieldEdge), Sending invoices & quotes to customers and following up on payments. Work closely with the Electrical Division Managers to schedule jobs.
-Cover for other admin staff when they are away from the office.-Match Electrical division packing slips to supplier invoices and post in Quickbooks-Filing, scanning, faxing & photocopying-Cleaning office area & staff washroom-sweeping, mopping & disinfecting.
The ideal candidate:
-Will have a post-secondary diploma or degree in Business Administration or at least 3-5 years experience in an Administrative Assistant/Customer Service role.
-Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access & Outlook)
-Experience working in Quickbooks Desktop is required.
-Experience with a cloud based electronic scheduling system would be an asset (We use FieldEdge)
-Must be able to work well with others and independently. We have a very fast-paced office environment and work load changes day to day depending on the needs of the customers/season.
-Can prioritize their workload and be able to get back on task after being interrupted.
-Will need to be a quick learner and willing to learn.
-We have dogs that come into the office, so applicant must be able to work in an environment with dogs.
-We are a nut sensitive environment. Nuts or nut products can not be brought into the office.
-This position involves sitting for extended periods of time. Some walking, standing, crouching, sweeping, mopping and lifting up to 20lbs.
-Must have own transportation to and from the office.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
