Adecco is currently recruiting for a Data Analystfor a 6-Month contract with client based in Port Hope, Ontario. There is the potential for a contract extension of 6-months on the initial term. The opportunity is fully remote for the duration of the contract The successful candidate must hold a valid Reliability Security Clearance or be eligible for it.
The Data Analyst will have the following responsibilities:
Plans and prepares corporate, regional and business area employment equity reporting for various employee groups using statistical forecasting model;
Works with teams on data validation to ensure accuracy and reliability of project data.
Perform quality checks to ensure data quality, consistency and accuracy and reports issues and gaps to project teams.
Work with project teams and contractors to address data issues and gaps.
Support project teams by ensuring report parameters are accurate and valuable for decision making processes.
Present reports to stakeholders/teams and communicate findings in a professional manner while
explaining data processes/system capabilities.
Recommend reporting improvements.
The Data Analyst must meet the following mandatory requirements:
Completed post-secondary, preferably in a related field OR a combination of equivalent professional experience and training;
5+ years of experience in Data Analyst responsibilities;
3+ years supporting project teams;
Well experienced in managing, manipulating, and presenting large datasets.
Well experienced in data quality processes, data validation and data aggregation.
Experienced in dashboard reporting or data visualization.
Well experienced in administration of SharePoint and Microsoft Teams Experience with ESRI ArcGIS
Online and/or Portal.
Previous experience working in a project environment.
