Position Summary

The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for providing support to the Order fulfillment team. The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for inputting and maintaining a high volume of data from multiple sources into computer files, databases, and ERP systems. They will verify, edit, and resolve discrepancies in data as needed.

Job Duties

• Transfer data from hard copy to computer files and/or digital databases.
• Verify data by comparing it to source documents.
• Create spreadsheets to track important company information.
• Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested.
• Verify outdated data and make any necessary changes to records.
• Keep a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Ensure compliance with safe work practices, Standard Operating Procedures, and all applicable regulations.
• Attend any training session designated by the Company.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous work experience in Data Entry is an asset
• Excellent typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP programs
• Proficient literacy and numeracy skills
• Excellent workplace housekeeping is essential
• Ability to work with strong attention to detail and time lines.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, and previous experience with Databases.

Working Conditions

• Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
• Overtime as required.
• Available for work on evenings and weekends as needed
• PPE Required: Scrubs, gloves, hairnets, and safety shoes
