- Responsibilities
- Read source documents such as cancelled checks, sales reports, or bills, and enter data in specific data fields or onto tapes/disks for entry, using keyboards/scanners
- Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before entering
- Verify, enter, retrieve, and edit data
- Locate and correct Data Entry errors or report them to supervisors
- Compare data with source documents and/or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors
- Maintain logs of activities and completed work
- Prepare mailouts, batching and scanning of document
- Cross train in other manual processes (Finalize/Dice)
Qualifications
- College diploma in accounting, business, or finance
- 2+ years of related experience
- Expert user of Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word
- Ability to enter data 7000+ keystrokes per hour
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and time management skills
- Ability to pass a speed and accuracy Data Entry test
