The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for a wide variety of clerical and technical duties to ensure the timely and accurate processing of customs release for ocean, air and truck shipments. This will include Data Entry, researching, working with various trade partners to affect release and final accounting of customs entries.
The candidate must be service oriented, have great communication skills and be able to work in a team environment. The candidate should be a great problem solver with and great organization skills.
Job Duties:
- Data entry and transposing of invoice information for customs clearance purpose
- Review all pertinent documentation to ensure all data elements are present in order to submit entry to CBSA via EDI or by preparing a hard copy paper entry
- Research, prepare and execute any additional documents required to satisfy Government departments
- Monitoring, track and trace shipments information to provide to clients and other third parties
- Responsible to track down missing information
- Updating entry notes to log information obtained from clients, vendors etc, etc
- Troubleshooting rejects on customs entries for ACROSS and CADEX
- Adhering to timelines such as customs for CADEX
- Coordinate steamship release, delivery instructions and collect charges where required.

Salary: $15.50-$19.00 per hour
