Department Overview

Data governance and management at TD is part of an enterprise-wide data and analytics ecosystem. Adaptability is key. You may be part of the data and analytics professional community managing data assets aligned to TD's overarching policies or strategies, or you may find yourself directly immersed in various lines of business. About this Role

Are you a conceptual and analytical thinker who enjoys independent research and teamwork? Do you get data analysis and manage it with discretion? If so, this role offers a hands-on opportunity to support the implementation of Data Governance and management initiatives, within a line of business or key function at TD. In this professional role you will positively help the success of the team by taking initiative and willingly assisting others in data research, analysis and reporting activity.

As an Analyst, Data Governance / Management you will:

  • Provide Data Governance / management-related research, evaluation, operational, reporting and / or analytical support in a timely manner
  • Suggest remedies and implement approved changes within your assigned business of group function
  • Develop and / or prepare business metrics and reporting in collaboration with partners for Data Governance to help inform and support decision-making
  • Support the development of presentations and distribution of required information
  • Understand your department data objectives based on review of results within assigned scope; coordinate processes and meetings / events that support your work and LOB
  • Consistently exercise discretion and support the stewardship of data in accordance with policy
  • Protect the interests of the organization; identify and manage risks, raising issues as necessary
  • Participate fully and support your team in providing quality service to the business
  • Willingly assist others in the completion and performance of work, continually enhancing professional expertise, knowledge transfer and acting as a brand ambassador for data stewardship and your LOB
Job RequirementsWhat can you bring to TD? Share your most relevant experience, credentials and knowledge for this role, as well as these essential requirements and attributes:
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
• Undergraduate degree or technical certificate and / or
• Proficient in MS Office Tools such as Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience in building Excel working template by formulas or programming by Python and VBA will be an asset
