```Job Summary```
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare Assistant to join our team. As a Daycare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, supervising playtime, and supporting the educational development of the children.
```Duties```
- Assist in creating a positive and engaging classroom environment
- Supervise and interact with children during playtime and activities
- Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and clean-up
- Support the lead teacher in implementing educational programs and lesson plans
- Maintain a clean and organized daycare facility
- Monitor children's behavior and report any concerns to the lead teacher or supervisor
- Collaborate with parents to ensure the well-being and development of each child
```Qualifications```
- Experience working with children in a caregiving setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
- Police check, CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
