Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in the daycare
- Support lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities and lesson plans
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and rest periods
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the daycare facility
- Assist with diaper changes, potty training, and other personal care tasks
- Observe and document children's behavior, progress, and any concerns
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to ensure smooth operation of daily routines
Requirements:
- Experience working with children in a daycare or similar setting
- Knowledge of caregiving techniques for young children
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices
- Ability to educate and engage children through age-appropriate activities
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
