About Us
Kinderville was started in 1990 in Montreal, Quebec. Since then, it has several centers in Quebec and Ontario. We are a play-based center committed to the well-being, development, and safety of the children entrusted to our care.
Our location in Kinderville London is looking to hire a supervisor. This role will be responsible for the operation and leadership of the center. This includes training and supervising staff, setting instructional objectives, building a rapport with parents, ensuring compliance with regulations and monitoring classroom activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support daycare staff, including teachers, assistants, and administrative personnel.
- Create and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment for all team members.
- Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations and guidelines regarding curriculum and child care.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with children, parents, and families.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all children and staff, adhering to safety regulations and best practices.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and reporting to maintain proper licensing.
- Conduct tours for prospective families and provide information about the daycare's programs and offerings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a leadership role within a daycare or childcare setting.
- Strong understanding of child development principles, early childhood education, and best practices in the field.
- Knowledge of local and federal regulations regarding child care and licensing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership, team-building, and problem-solving abilities.
