Daycare Supervisor

About Us

Kinderville was started in 1990 in Montreal, Quebec. Since then, it has several centers in Quebec and Ontario. We are a play-based center committed to the well-being, development, and safety of the children entrusted to our care.

Our location in Kinderville London is looking to hire a supervisor. This role will be responsible for the operation and leadership of the center. This includes training and supervising staff, setting instructional objectives, building a rapport with parents, ensuring compliance with regulations and monitoring classroom activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support daycare staff, including teachers, assistants, and administrative personnel.
• Create and maintain a positive and inclusive work environment for all team members.
• Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations and guidelines regarding curriculum and child care.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with children, parents, and families.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all children and staff, adhering to safety regulations and best practices.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and reporting to maintain proper licensing.
• Conduct tours for prospective families and provide information about the daycare's programs and offerings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a leadership role within a daycare or childcare setting.
• Strong understanding of child development principles, early childhood education, and best practices in the field.
• Knowledge of local and federal regulations regarding child care and licensing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership, team-building, and problem-solving abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $27.00-$33.00 per hour
