The Senior Salesforce Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex Salesforce-based solutions to support the organization's business processes. This role requires deep expertise in Salesforce development, customization, and integration, as well as the ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.
A Senior Salesforce Developer is a key player in leveraging Salesforce to drive business success, and they are expected to have advanced skills and the ability to guide and mentor junior team members.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Salesforce solutions, including custom applications, configurations, and enhancements.
- Customize Salesforce applications to meet specific business requirements, including creating custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules.
- Integrate Salesforce with other systems and applications, both on-premises and cloud-based, using technologies like REST and SOAP APIs.
- Manage data import, export, and migration tasks, ensuring data quality and integrity within Salesforce.
- Implement and maintain robust security and access controls to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Write efficient, well-structured, and maintainable Apex code, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components to maximize system performance.
- Stay up to date with Salesforce best practices and new features, and recommend their implementation to improve system efficiency.
- Lead and mentor junior Salesforce developers, provide technical guidance, and foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
- Develop and execute test plans, perform code reviews, and ensure the quality and reliability of Salesforce solutions.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
- 10+ years of proven experience as a Senior Salesforce Developer with a track record of successful project implementations in a similar sized company.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proficiency in Salesforce development tools, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and SOQL.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model.
- Experience with Salesforce integration techniques and technologies.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
- Nice to have: Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II
- English (spoken and written)
