Digital Marketing Specialist – Email & SMS

We’re looking for a fierce and friendly Email Marketing Specialist to join our diverse & vibrant team. Rümi is a bright new member of the ATCO family and operates 3 lines of business under the Rümi umbrella: Rümi Home Services, ATCOenergy and Blue Flame Kitchen.

This role focuses on driving customer engagement across all 3 lines of Rümi’s business, primarily via our email & SMS platform Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Unlike any business you’ve likely worked in, you’ll have the opportunity to leverage the strength of all three businesses simultaneously to provide additional value to our customers, including leveraging our more established ATCOenergy and Blue Flame Kitchen brands to bolster our young and upcoming Rümi Home Services portfolio.

On a daily basis, you’ll…

• Design and execute effective automated email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create targeted email content, personalized messaging, and relevant offers.
• Optimize email deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, and conversion metrics.
• Strategize and execute on lifecycle journey messages.
• Leverage data segmentation techniques to tailor email content based on customer behavior
• Implement dynamic content and personalization strategies to enhance engagement and drive conversions.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and revenue generated from email campaigns.
• Build robust marketing automations that enhance the customer journey and increase brand loyalty.
• Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM Act, GDPR).
• Stay updated on industry best practices and trends related to email marketing.
• Gather and document requirements to support the implementation of new tools, technologies and engagement strategies.
• Stay informed on and support managing Digital Marketing tools, including but not limited to: websites, CRM (Salesforce), project management (Wrike), email marketing and marketing automation (Marketing Cloud) and analytics.
• Participate in strategic marketing discussions and assist with tracking, reporting and analyzing the performance of marketing activities.
• Support website team to update landing pages, website pop-ups and information forms.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you have:

• Post-secondary degree in a related discipline
• 5+ years’ experience working in email marketing
• Salesforce/Marketing Cloud experience or equivalent experience with an email marketing platform
• Experience with HTML/CSS for email template design and customization.
• Knowledge in data privacy laws i.e. CASL
• Excellent communication skills are critical. Both verbal and written communication skills will be essential in producing the results required for this role.
• Believes that an ideal work environment is collaborative and encourages everyone to be curious and bring their best ideas forward
• Experience using Google Analytics
