The Role

Based in Coquitlam, BC, Mac’s II Agencies is seeking a Digital Marketing Assistant that can work with our team in elevating our brand through social media engagement and other forms of digital media. A successful candidate is a driven, high-energy individual with a passion for marketing and a keen eye for graphic design. Applications without a portfolio or web link will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Create content, plan, and schedule posts for our social media accounts
• Engage with followers on social media platforms and help us grow our digital presence
• Creation and editing of written, photo, and video content
• Help tell our story by assisting with our newsletter and project case studies
• Create internal flyers for event promotion or price point sales
• Assist in event planning promotion

Skills & Requirements

• High energy and a determined problem solver.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Post-Secondary education with a focus on graphic design and/or Digital Marketing
• Understanding of social media management platforms, such as Hootsuite or Buffer
• Understanding of SEO is a bonus
• Experience with graphic design software, Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus
• Photo and video editing experience is an asset
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 software
