We’re looking for a part-time Digital Marketing Intern to join our team!

About your role:
Reporting to the Marketing team, the Digital Marketing Intern will create digital content that drives social engagement and assist with implementing our Digital Marketing plan.
This role is responsible for assisting with executing social media content creation, and implementation of Digital Marketing campaigns across email, our blog, SEO, influencers and affiliates. You will take a hands-on role in content creation and assisting the marketing team.

You’re passionate about slow fashion, social media and content creation. Self-motivated, organized and you’re a whiz at balancing multiple priorities. You want to work for a company that’s making a positive impact in the ethical fashion world. You’re equally comfortable shooting, editing and producing content with or without you in it. You’re always up to date on the latest social trends, and love learning new things. You’ve got strong graphic design and video editing skills and a never-ending curiosity to create and iterate on content.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with social media campaign coordination
- Shooting weekly social content in studio and behind the scenes (video and photos)
- Deeply understand our social channels and what content drives results
- Edit and create video (Reels, TikTok etc.) and graphic content for emails, social media and our website
- Assist with content creation for our digital channels including paid ads, SEO, websites, and our blog
- Assist with PR, media, affiliate and influencer outreach efforts
- Assist with In studio events and pop-up shops from time to time
- Other projects as required
Your Experience:
- Able to work a minimum of 20-25/hours per week for a total hours commitment of a minimum of 410 hours over 16-20 weeks.
- Youth placement must be between 18-30 years old
- The Youth participant must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident or a person to whom refugee status has been granted.
- First-hand experience using and posting on social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and Facebook
- Strong graphic and video editing skills using tools like Inshot, Canva and Adobe CS
- Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
- Maintains excellent writing and language skills.
- On top of the latest social media trends, and a general love for social media
- Have a positive, can-do attitude. You’re up for any task and ready to dive in and learn
- A strong work ethic
- Able to work independently and prioritize your tasks
- A passion for slow fashion
- Must have access to a personal laptop and reliable high-speed internet as some remote work required
- Must have access to a smartphone capable of filming video
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person who has been granted refugee status in Canada
- Be legally entitled to work according to the relevant provincial/territorial legislation and regulations
Nice to have:
- Experience with Shopify or working for an eCommerce brand
- Experience working in the fashion/retail industry
- Experience using Slack

P/T Internship (could be full-time if possible). Hourly.
Required to be in office at least 1 day per week (if part-time), and 3-days per week (if full-time) Monday to Friday to support digital content creation. Remainder of the role can be done remotely. Our office is located in the Junction triangle area of Toronto. Periodic travel to photoshoots in the greater Toronto area may be required.
