Job Title Director, MCCR Business Management
Job Description
Assist SVP, MCCR in further developing dynamic and collaborative teams through staff communication, engagement, recruitment, development and process improvement/ implementation.
Plan and develop agendas for a broad scope of MCCR meetings, offsites, and Town Halls, including working with subject matter experts for educational presentations.
Serve as the MCCR representative for regulators, auditors, and other internal or third-party reviewers. Coordinate meetings and agendas, as well as responses to queries.
Coordinate preparation of annual budget plans, periodic forecasts and human resourcing as required, and review of monthly actual results.
Oversee Toronto premises, including costs and service delivery activities to maximize employee engagement. Oversee annual review of business continuity plans.
Establish operational objectives, process workflow strategies and process improvements to support the broader mandate of MCCR and align with Productivity & Efficiency initiatives.
Provide expertise regarding governance in connection with initiatives e.g. Board presentations.
Must Have
5-10 years of relevant experience.
Experience managing executive interactions and presentations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong analytical and organizational skills. Project management experience is a plus.
Nice to Have
MBA, MA, MS or equivalent with emphasis in finance, economics or other relevant discipline is desired.
A relevant professional designation is beneficial (e.g., CFA, FRM, CA, CMA).
Job Summary What is the Opportunity?
MCCR provide independent enterprise-wide oversight and governance of market, counterparty credit, liquidity, and model risks arising from RBC’s businesses and operations. In support of the work of this team, this role the role will require significant interaction with GRM peers and multiple business partners on a regular basis so strong oral and written communications skills will be utilized consistently along with sound organizational practices.
