Reporting to the Vice President, Retail Services and Marketing, we are looking for a Director, Monetization and Marketing for our new hybrid product raddar, with a passion for the retail world and a mastery of both print and digital marketing environments. As Director, Monetization and Marketing, you will be responsible for the monetization strategy and the implementation of its marketing, for both its print and digital platforms.What you will doStrategic vision
- Creating a development strategy for the raddar brand, with a view to increasing commercial revenues, and defining a roadmap of deliverables in terms of functionalities and multiplatform content across Canada.
- Focus on the development and evolution of the digital platform, at the beginning of the product life cycle and in a context of high business competitiveness.
- Work with our business marketing analyst to turn insights from BTB & BTC surveys into short-term tactics.
- Development of strategies to increase print and digital revenues.
- Work in collaboration with the finance team and their analysis to increase revenue optimisation and implement acceleration or correction strategies as appropriate.
- Work closely with the national and local sales teams
- Develop innovative content campaign strategies to increase brand visibility and attract new audiences.
- Define and implement the annual marketing plan to promote the company, its products, and services.
- Ensuring the planning, coordination, and control of the marketing department's projects
- Monitoring, analysing, and presenting performance indicators and recommending any changes needed to optimise and improve the efficiency of marketing actions.
- Oversee the creation, publication, and management of content on all platforms, including the print product, our social media, the website, and other communication channels.
- MBA, combined with work experience or any combination of a bachelor's degree and equivalent experience (in commerce/business, marketing, communications).
- Over 10 years' previous experience in the media industry (traditional or digital) with 5-7 years in a senior management role.
- Experience in digital product management (website, application) and in-depth knowledge of the marketing media mix, including programmatic and geofencing offerings, are mandatory.
- Excellent understanding of applied digital marketing including relationship marketing, social networks, competitions & ecomm and ability to analyse CPM, CPC, ROI, CTR, etc. performance indicators,
- Knowledge of Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Business Manager, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
- Expertise in Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Supermetrics and Semrush;
- Agility and proactivity in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
- Bilingual (French, English) is essential as there is a need to interact daily with colleagues across Canada.
