The Role: Director of People and Culture
- Drive employee capability and satisfaction, foster a positive work culture
- Key member of the Executive Team, working closely with CAO and COO
- Manage HR and Payroll for approx. 180 employees across 5 locations
- Align HR strategy with the Foundation's Mission, Vision, and Strategy
- Lead HR and Payroll team, while ensuring compliance
- Advise, guide and coach managers on people management matters
- Handle Employee and Industrial Relations matters
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Oversee all HR and Payroll needs, both operational and strategic
- Support leaders to act as a catalyst for change while enhancing their leadership capability in people management
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum five years of HR management experience in unionized and non-unionized environments
- Knowledge of Canadian employment regulations
- Executive/Leadership team experience
- Strong influencer with a track record of positive work culture initiatives
- Resourceful, results-oriented, with a people-first and agile mindset
