We are currently looking for a lawyer to join our Team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience and enjoys working in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.

Primary responsibilities will include:
- Superior Court of Justice applications regarding guardianship and Certificates of Appointment of Estate Trustee
- Drafting complex Wills with trusts
- Corresponding with financial advisors and wealth advisors
- Understanding the application of tax credits that are beneficial to our clients
- Virtual hearings at the Tax Court of Canada
- Appeals at the Social Benefits Tribunal
- Assisting executors or executor trust companies with Estate Planning, settling, and administration
- Assisting Henson Trust trustees
- Other Estate Planning and administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of Wills and estates law and procedures.
- Experience or familiarity with in-writing and oral Guardianship applications
- Strong technical skills and an interest in continuous learning.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail
- Must be a member of the Ontario Bar in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
- An affinity for helping families with special needs and disabilities and a readiness to serve them for decades is an advantage. We maintain a lifelong solicitor-client relationship for the lifespans of the family members' files.
