310-DUMP is looking for a Dispatcher. This position will coordinate, in the most cost effective and efficient manner, the daily activities of our internal fleet of vehicles and drivers. The Dispatcher will work to facilitate and ensure our highest level of service to all of our customers. Must understand and practice the Company’s values, which includes treating each other with respect and dignity regardless of position and supports personal growth and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities for this Role:

• strategic planning that keep efficiency, time and mileage as their key focus;
• planning and prioritizing all loads with correlating disposal sites;
• communicating with customers and drivers to ensure optimal operations and customer satisfaction;
• dispatching drivers to specific vehicles and routes as required on a daily basis;
• complete invoicing, account updates and other dispatch duties;
• creating ideas that will make our dispatch process and team, more efficient on a daily basis, you will lead by example and be the go-to person the team can rely on.

Qualifications:

Someone with excellent communication skills, this is required to clearly convey information over the telephone/computer and to be able to problem solve at a moments notice

A sense of urgency and flexibility is required to deal with a variety of miscellaneous situations that arise.

This position requires the ability to work under high pressure and respond to multiple and immediate priorities.

You will have strong leadership skills and be able to lead and motivate a team by bringing your positive attitude and energy to every shift.

Experience:

• Dispatching: 2 year (required)
• Knowledge of the city and surrounding areas (required)
• Strong English (required)
• Customer service: 3 years (preferred)
