Responsibilities

Tasks

• Take patients' case history, conduct examinations, and observe patients
• Diagnose disorders of the spine and other body joints
• Adjust position of displaced vertebrae and other articulations, using manipulative therapy
• Use additional treatments such as heat, light and massage
• Advise patients on corrective exercises, lifestyle and nutrition

Supervision

• 1 to 2 people

Credentials

Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses 

• Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board and Provincial Licensing Body Examination
• Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
