The Opportunity:

Your subject matter expertise and passion for HR/organizational development will contribute to your success in this role and make an impact on leadership and organizational performance as we shape our desired culture. Your role as a Leadership Development Consultant will allow you to leverage best practices, and be instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth for leaders at Medavie.
Responsibilities

-Champion Medavie Values and execute on our Leadership Development strategy and its distinct portfolios by offering programs tailored to specific leadership needs, whether they are emerging, new, existing or experienced leaders aligned to our business objectives
-Work closely with Human Resources Business Partners, internal leaders, including Senior Leadership Team members to identify existing and emerging development needs and translate into learning solutions
-Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the specific training requirements and developmental needs of leaders in both insurance and healthcare
-Research best practices, vendor and/or design, develop and deliver a variety of blended learning programs
-Optimize current leadership learning practices, processes, tools, modalities and propose new innovative resources and solutions
-Design or acquire, implement, and manage learning initiatives such as e-learning modules, webinars, and self-paced training materials to facilitate continuous learning opportunities for leaders
-Conduct engaging training sessions, workshops, and seminars, both in-person and virtually, to address Leadership Development needs
-Select and manage external training providers, negotiate contracts, and ensure training quality and effectiveness

-Develop content by creating learning objectives, detailed content outlines, and learning materials using a variety of modalities including virtual, F-2-F and e-learning solutions
-Ensure adoption and retention of learning and measure impact of their effectiveness
-Ensure training compliance with corporate and/or governmental standards
Requirements
-Post secondary degree in Business Leadership, Adult Education, Organizational Development, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s Degree or CPHR is an asset
-5-7 years of HR experience with a minimum of 3-4 years in Organizational Development specific to Learning and Leadership Development
-Experience in adult learning principles and instructional design methodology is required Coaching, psychometric and/or 360 assessment, Change Management certification (i.e. Prosci) are strong assets
-Proficiency in MS-Office is required, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint and experience with on-line surveys and e-learning solutions. Knowledge of authoring tools, Learning Management Systems and WorkDay is an asset
-Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively, build credibility and strong relationships with a broad range of stakeholders at all levels in the organization
-Excellent verbal and written communication
-Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
-Written and spoken bilingualism (French and English) is required as corporate initiatives and programming is provided in both languages
