We are seeking a highly collaborative Electric Motor Systems Technician to join our team. Key responsibilities include the following (but are not limited to):

• Testing, rebuilding and repair of Electric Motors, generators, controllers and related electrical and mechanical equipment used in commercial, industrial and institutional establishments.
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing emergency repair procedures
• Providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers
• Working independently with minimal daily supervision
• Willingness to travel approx. 25% of the time
• Working in a safe manner at all times
• All other duties as assigned

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of AC and DC motor repair experience
• EMST Apprenticeship or Journeyman Ticket
• Ability to read, write and communicate in a professional manner
• Knowledge of or ability to learn electrical components and ability to diagnose when necessary
• Valid driver’s license required, with good driving record
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Intermediate or higher-level computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for prolonged period of time
• Ability to remain seated for 15 minutes or more while driving
• Ability to bend, squat, stand and reach as necessary
• Ability to work alone or in a team setting
