We are looking for a skilled and reliable Mitigation Water Technician. Experience preferred but will train the right candidates in all required job tasks. Technicians do not need any certification to start and we will send qualified candidates to certification training. We require our team leads to have IICRC certificates in Water Mitigation and further IICRC training to specialize. Candidates should be good working with their hands and have a strong attention to detail. Candidates will work with a team lead on water and fire losses for the emergency cleanup and securing of the damaged structure.
Responsibilities:
- Perform restoration and repair work on damaged properties
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete tasks
- Conduct carpet cleaning and removal of debris
- Assist with the build and reconstruction of damaged structures
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines during restoration projects
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of projects
Experience:
- Previous experience in restoration or construction is preferred
- Knowledge of power tools and hand tools used in restoration work
- Familiarity with carpet cleaning techniques and equipment
- Understanding of asbestos abatement procedures is a plus
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and meet project deadlines
