New Title: Equipment Operator
Reporting to the Site foreman, the Equipment Operator is responsible for receiving and appropriately deal with incoming feedstocks and flipping bays during the composting process. Assist in other duties as required.
Include but are not limited to,
· Operate heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
· Performs daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment including routine cleaning.
· Mixes incoming feedstocks based on the most up to date composting procedure.
· Fill and flip bays when required.
· Pushes up green waste when required.
· Attends safety meetings if scheduled. Independently follows up on safety meeting notes signing that they have read and understand what was discussed.
· Steel toe boots, high visibility vest, and safety glasses are required at all times.
· Follows all Salish Soils policies and procedures.
· Maintain constant communication by radio.
· Accurately loads customers as per direction from the front office with the right type of product when required.
· Assists in screening when required.
· Assists in grinding when required.
· Pushing up piles when needed
· Reports to Site Foreman

Salary: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
