Job Summary
We are currently seeking an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Reporting Analyst to join our Sustainability team. This position requires a candidate with well-rounded knowledge of sustainability within the food service space and who will play a pivotal role in ensuring the organization is able to meet the evolving, complex needs of our clients across Canada with regards to sustainability, diversity and responsible procurement practices
Now, if you were to come on board as our Environmental, Social and Governance Reporting Analyst we'd ask you to do the following for us:
- Manage and enhance datasets for sustainability and supplier diversity.
- Global sustainability reporting, ensuring compliance with auditing and certification requirements.
- Actively engage with suppliers for certification collection and mapping to supply chain items.
- Sustainability Dashboard and Data Support
- Maintain, update, and track supplier diversity data, including certifications and expiration dates for global and client reporting.
- Manage the coding and uploading of certificates into the internal system, assisting the QA team in vendor certification processes.
- Prepare and facilitate conversion files for sustainability pilot projects.
- Work closely with Foodbuy Finance and operators for strategic engagement in these projects.
- Manage local vendor processes and map tier 2 suppliers for reporting, aiding in reducing scope three impacts.
- Provide essential data for sales and RFP responses.
- Regularly report on the financial impacts of sustainability initiatives.

- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- In-depth understanding of ESG frameworks and standards
- Proven experience in collecting, analyzing, and reporting on ESG data.
- Advanced Power BI Skills: Proficient in building interactive and dynamic dashboards using Power BI.
- Experience in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for advanced calculations and data analysis.
- Advanced skills in Excel, including complex pivot tables, formulas, and data visualization techniques.
- Experience in handling large datasets and performing data cleaning and manipulation in Excel.
- Knowledge of VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) for Excel is a plus.
- Strong quantitative skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial and non-financial data.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
