The Saskatchewan Ministry of Agricultures Programs Branch is seeking a highly motivated, results-oriented individual to join its management team as Executive Coordinator.
In this role, you will lead administrative service delivery, as well as support the Executive Director of the Programs Branch. You will plan, schedule, and organize meetings and other events, including the coordination of travel and event logistics. You will use strong computer skills to type, format, and proofread a variety of sensitive and confidential documents such as general correspondence, briefing materials, reports, tables, graphs and presentation materials. You will also lead the organization and maintenance of the branch Sharepoint administration portal to track correspondence and maintain filing and archiving.
The successful candidate must have strong organization skills to track, coordinate and process correspondence, and ensure responses are completed in a timely manner. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required to resolve issues on a daily basis. You will also be responsible for providing leadership and advice to other staff within the branch and ministry on government processes and standards.
Typically, the knowledge and skills required for this position would be obtained through formal education and experience in a senior administrative position.
