Responsibilities:
As the Executive Housekeeping Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout our hotel. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Leadership: Lead and inspire a dedicated housekeeping team, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and attention to detail.
- Operations Management: Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas are immaculately maintained.
- Staff Training: Conduct regular training sessions for housekeeping staff to ensure they are well-versed in industry best practices and hotel standards.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to guarantee the cleanliness and presentation of all guest areas, including rooms, lobbies, and common spaces.
- Inventory Control: Manage and control housekeeping supplies and equipment, ensuring efficient use and minimizing waste.
- Guest Satisfaction: Address guest concerns promptly and ensure a seamless resolution to enhance overall satisfaction.
- Budget Management: Work closely with the hotel management team to manage the housekeeping budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, as well as hotel policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a housekeeping management role, preferably in a hotel setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. OnQ property management system is a plus.
- Knowledge of local health and safety regulations.
Education:
- Degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred.
