The Flowr Group (Okanagan) Inc. is an 80,000 sq.ft. cannabis cultivation facility based in Kelowna/Lake Country, British Columbia. The Flowr Group (Okanagan) Inc. is a subsidiary of Avant Brands K1, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Avant Brands (and GreenTec Holdings Ltd.).
The Flowr Group (Okanagan) Inc. has entry-level positions available in the Fertigation and IPM Department.
Fertigation and IPM Team Member Job Description
· Scouting of all cultivation rooms
· Perform preventative and curative treatments for pest control
· Oversees plant health monitoring and in charge of investigating plant health issues and challenges
· Assists Fertigation Department by conducting EC/pH checks of growing media
· Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and Good Production Practices (GPP)
· Documenting cleaning activities as per SOP’s and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
· Other duties & responsibilities, as assigned from time to time
Required Job Skills
· Ability to work with Isopropyl Alcohol and other chemicals/cleaners
· Capability of working in 21 - 29 degrees Celsius daily
· A continual desire to learn with a positive attitude
· Ability to follow direction and stay on task
· Effective communication – verbal and in writing
· Ability to work in a team environment and independently
· Have strong attention to detail
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, use ladders comfortably, stand for long periods of time, walk up and down stairs several times a day, and perform repetitive tasks
