Are you someone with strong communication, organizational and team skills, complemented with a strong work ethic? Reporting to the Production Foreman, you will be responsible for working with the Field team to monitor and optimize well production, pipeline systems and facilities. Troubleshoot equipment and well problems as well as perform ongoing basic and preventative maintenance. You will ensure daily/weekly/monthly reports are accurately completed and archived.
Key Accountabilities:
Adhere to and engage in safety protocols including hazard identification, equipment lock-out and emergency response
Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform minor repairs and servicing
Identify and implement opportunities to increase production through optimization of gas wells, gathering systems and facilities
Start up or shut down of gas wells, facilities and equipment
Comply with environmental and safety regulatory requirements and take corrective action as required
Communicate with operations, maintenance, construction, engineering and management staff
Ongoing performance improvement including job progression, training and daily production accounting
Remain on-call to provide after-hours coverage for facilities or wells, as needed

Job location: Valleyview/Fox Creek Area, Alberta
Shift schedule: 8 days on/ 6 days on, 10hr/days
The successful applicant will be expected to live in the Valleyview/Fox creek area
Please note this position has no camp and is not eligible for company sponsored Fly-In/Fly-out program

Skills & Qualifications:
High School Diploma and a minimum of 2 years of Oil & Gas industry experience required
Production Field Operations (PFO) and/or Gas Process Operations (GPO) certification
Preference will be given to candidates with relevant Journeyman certification, Technology diploma or Technical degree
Valid Class 5 driver’s license
Basic understanding of computer programs such as Microsoft Office applications
