Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated B2B Sales Representative to represent, support, and promote our window and door products to retail outlets. The successful candidate will have previous B2B sales experience in the window and door industry, have a proven track record of successfully building and maintaining customer relations through providing outstanding customer service, be a self-starter and able to work independently.
Reports to: Operations Manager
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday with occasional weekends
Territory: Upper portion of Southwestern Ontario (Grey, Bruce & Dufferin counties + upper portions of Huron, Perth, Wellington, & Peel counties) as well as Simcoe, York, Durham and Muskoka counties (Central Ontario). The successful candidate will ideally reside in the Orangeville to Barrie corridor.

- Base salary commensurate with experience

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain client relationships with existing B2B retail clients
- Identify and solicit, via phone calls, email, and walk-in visits, potential new B2B retail clients
- Continually upgrade and update product knowledge base
- Create, develop, and present effective sales pitches, proposals, product presentations, or material to illustrate and highlight product features, applications, and benefits
- Receive requests and respond to inquiries from clients, assess and evaluate clients’ needs to recommend or assist in the selection of appropriate goods, providing ongoing and continuous support
- Provide input into product design where goods must be tailored to suit clients’ needs
- Negotiate and close deals, present some quotes and complete contracts, ensuring accuracy to the wants and needs of the client
- Submit orders to Customer Service Representatives as per established procedures
- Follow up on open proposal orders
- Maintain accurate client contact records and sales reports
- Keep up to date with the competitive landscape, developing, implementing, and reporting on marketing plans and sales strategies to achieve business goals, and participate in company marketing and trade show events
- Troubleshoot technical problems related to product and resolve customer complaints
Skills, Experience and Competencies:
- Minimum high school level of education
- Prefer a minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience in the window and door industry
- Excellent mathematical, computer, technical, and problem solving skills
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proficient in blueprint reading, drawings and specifications, estimating, troubleshooting, problem solving and custom ordering
- Strong sales capabilities
- High level of commitment to exceptional customer service
- Highly organized, detail-oriented individual with excellent time management skills
- Decisive and pro-active self-starter, able to work independently and highly motivated to succeed
- Able to work well both individually and in a team environment
Working Conditions & Physical Capabilities:
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs is an asset
- Driving for extended periods of time
- Ability to adapt to the varying physical environments of retail outlets
Health and Safety Requirements:
- Ensure adherence to both company and customer health and safety protocols and procedures while on premise
- Report incidences to the Joint Health and Safety Committee and provide input as identified to continually improve safety practices
