The Role
We are looking for an intermediate-senior accountant to join our team as we grow our operations around the globe.
Reporting to the Controller, you'll support a variety of financial needs and will work closely with our Leadership, Sales, and Finance Team. In this fast-paced and varied role, you will be predominantly focused on full cycle accounting operations including: internal controls, assisting with the audit process, and financial reporting. As you learn you have the opportunity to take on more responsibility - meaning this role will evolve over time!
Key Responsibilities
- Complete month end journal entries; recurring/ad hoc reconciliations
- Prepare analysis and reconciliation of accounts
- Act as a key resource in preparing and supporting regulatory filings
- Assist with financial statement preparation
- Assist with year-end working paper files
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Support Controller in the execution of broader Finance and Leadership projects
- 3-5 years of overall accounting experience
- CA/CPA designation
- Strong understanding of consolidations, intercompany transactions, and financial reporting
- You're a self-starter, and have incredible attention to detail
- Adaptable communication and relationship-building abilities. We move fast, which means you'll need to build a high degree of trust with peers and key stakeholders in a variety of departments
- To think big, yet manage the details. You can see the big picture but are also laser-focused on delivery and execution
- Experience working for a saas company
- Experience working with consolidations, and in multi jurisdictional environments

This role is based in: Canada (preference given to Alberta) with the option to work 100% remotely.
The proposed salary range for this role is: $75,000-$100,000 CAD
