Financial Analyst - Sales Finance

Join us as a Financial Analyst – Sales Finance at Canada HQ in Mississauga. In this role, you will support the business unit and corporate finance teams by providing data, completing month end processing, preparing forecasts, budgets and ad hoc reports. You will be responsible for moderately complex financial analysis by collecting, monitoring and studying data to recommend actions. A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
             
-Developing Cross-Functional Partnerships
– You will interact directly with the designated Business Unit/Finance to provide guidance around reports, analytics, strategic plans, business plans, and targets. Communication is key!
-Accurate Analysis –
Sharing insights! You will perform moderately complex financial analyses and reports for management across functions, actively involved in process improvement.
-Month End Responsibilities –
You will use your attention-to-detail skills to ensure timely and accurate monthly financial closing/reporting, submission of results, and review with leadership.
-Timely Responses & Functional Support –
You will frame and prepare ad-hoc reporting and analytics requests and interfacing across cross-functional teams and corporate functions.
-Controls and Compliance –
You will observe best practices, adhere to Section 404 (SOX) and U.S. GAAP, and comply with company policies.
-Intellectual Curiosity & Professional Development –
You will participate in functional and career development training to increase knowledge and skills.
 
Your Recipe for Success
style="margin-bottom:11.0px"-
-Post-secondary education, Business Degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce. 
-Proven experience providing accounting insight and analysis to non-finance stakeholders.
-Proven experience using SAP and Excel for reporting and analysis purposes.  
-Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and results oriented.  
-Strong communication skills and ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external customers. Effective time management skills.
