This position has the potential for some remote work.
Responsibilities:
Overall Financial Management
- Implement Cash Management System with regular Ownership Reporting
- Regular and ongoing budgeting
- Bookkeeping Oversight
- Bank Reporting
- Collaboration with partners
- Assist with strategic planning
Inventory Management
- Implement Inventory Management System
- Collaborate with partners on inventory management
- Weekly inventory reports
- Monthly Compliance Reporting
Profitability Analysis
- Pen closeouts
- Enterprise analysis
- Internal review of expense accounts
- Monthly cost comparisons with partners
Programs
- Apply for grants as available
- Manage regulatory requirements as needed
Introduce Technology
- Transition office to paperless within a year
- Introduce technology to capture data from daily farm activities
Experience
- Accounting Designation and/or
- 5 + years Banking Experience
- Preference given to candidates familiar with agriculture
