Urgent hiring Fleet Maintenance Supervisor:

Job Duties:

• Manage preventive maintenance scheduling, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Direct off-site maintenance, repair, and recovery functions for roadside vehicle repairs
• Monitor, evaluate and determine priority of vehicle maintenance, servicing, and repair projects
• Manage warranty claims, ensuring all issues are addressed in a timely manner
• Review the work of vendors to assure compliance with established standards, guidelines, and procedures
• Review vendor estimates/invoices to ensure maintenance and budget needs are met
• Ensure damages are repaired, billed, approved, and paid
• Negotiate contracts and service level agreements for third party suppliers and/or service providers
• Work with the operations department to assure adequate equipment resources are always available to meet customer requirements.
• Provide clear communication daily to all staff and management on the status of repairs and/or needs of the shop, in order to reduce delays
• Utilize superior quality customer service when communicating with customers regarding service issues and scheduling
• Be aware of any new regulations from the industry
• Complete quarterly review of all maintenance providers that work on our fleet
• Be available for on-call, after regular work hours.
• Assure that each direct report understands the company objectives.
• Effective commissioning of new fleet equipment

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 5 years experience in Fleet Maintenance
• Must have 310 T Red Seal License
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance or trade license in highway trailers (310T)
• Thorough understanding of transport maintenance and industry in general
• Strong technical skills in software applications such as – Outlook, XP, Act, Oracle applications, Excel, Word
• Cummins Insite and Allison experience an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
