Horizon Retirement Management is a private seniors' residence (RPA) manager with 8 residences in the greater Montreal area and in Ottawa. Join our more than 500 dedicated employees who provide our residents with a daily client experience focused on well-being.
- The Redwoods is looking for a full-time server
- This position is a temporary full time contract that could lead to be permanent
- Wage is $16.40
Functions:
- Assist Cook with food preparation as required.
- Complete departmental cleaning and ware washing as required.
- Be knowledgeable of and practice residence's fire and safety programs.
- Serve food to residents observing special diet restrictions, resident preferences, and outlined departmental procedures.
- Clear tables, load, and safely operate the dishwasher. Complete manual ware washing as required.
- Adhere to established policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Food service experience necessary.
- Familiar with HACCP, WHMIS and Occupational Health and Safety, Sanitation Code.
- Willingness and ability to learn.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, stand and walk short distances throughout the day and to tolerate heat from kitchen area.
