Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Manager to join our team. As the Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our banquet and restaurant's Food and Beverage operations. This includes managing the Restaurant and Banquet Servers, ensuring high-quality service, maintaining inventory levels, and providing exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Supervise and train all Servers, Banquet and Restaurant, on Standards of Service.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Create and update menus based on customer preferences and seasonal availability
- Oversee the dining area to ensure cleanliness, proper set-up, and excellent customer service
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner
- Implement strategies to increase sales and revenue
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in restaurant management or a similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Proficient in using POS systems for order processing and inventory management
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with staff, customers, and vendors
- Experience in interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating staff members
